I LOVE WHAT I DO
I got into design because I like creating things, I stayed in design because I love bringing people’s visions to light. With a background in communication and anthropology studies, I view the creative process as an expedition. I’m setting out with my expertise on my back and some tools under my belt to explore this dark cave of potential. Within the jagged walls there is a vision waiting to be unearthed; a process that demands skill, determination, trust, and partnership. It’s hard work but there is no greater satisfaction than being able to share what I’ve created with clients and hearing “This is better than I ever could’ve imagined”. I am incredibly lucky to be doing this work.
SIMPLICITY AND CONNECTION
The experiences I’ve gained as an au pair in Italy, teaching at a University in Thailand, studying Innovation in France, and designing in Portugal have shaped me. Life, like design, is all about connection and simplicity. The little things matter. People matter. At the end of the day in design, the thing that matters is how it relates to people. At the end of the day in life, we’re all human and despite our differences there’s nothing quite like soaking in a summer night with a cold drink and a group of strangers or loved ones.
